Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA)
The Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) is helping to define and shape Arizona's future through an action-oriented agenda.
CFA is focused on three strategic imperatives, one of these imperatives is confirming its role as a catalyst for Civic Engagement at the local level.
The Process
CFA worked with Kim to design and facilitate a three-part Civic Engagement (CE) community focus group series.
The focus group included state-wide community thought leaders that met over a five month period. The goals of the CE focus group included: to define CFA's future role, progress metrics and resource requirements to support the strategic imperative.
The Result
This collaborative focus group process resulted in a first draft of a Civic Health Roadmap and Action Plan, as well as, identified additional important exploration areas.
Other key outcomes included clarification and alignment around important terminology, definitions, community roles and priorities which will serve as the guiding principles of CFA's leadership and community role in Civic Health.
